I have a valid H1B visa and my husband has a valid H4. I recently changed jobs ; my new company has applied for my H1 transfer. I have received the receipt from INS for my application for H1B transfer. I have not recieved the approval but have started working with the new company. My husband who recently travelled to India is returning soon. Since his H4 reflects the old company, will he have trouble at the port of entry? What paperwork should he show? And what should he tell them about where I am working? Is it better for him to wait till I get my approval?
