H1B - Working on OLD Visa after the NEW visa is Active

Hi,

I came to USA on L1B from Employer A. I applied for H1B thru Employer B with Change of Status effective from OCT 2007. Because of committment with the Employer A, I worked for 2 months with Employer A before resigning.

Is it Legal to continue working with Old Employer for 2 to 3 months? I think there is a grace period, right?

Will it become an issue in the future when I apply for Green Card?

Please advise.
