valid H1 in passport but I94 is expiring
Hello,
I have valid H1 stamp in my passport (Till Oct 2010) but my passport will expire in May 2009. At the port of entry (NYcity), The INS office gave I94 validity till May 2009 ( as my passport is expiring) for me and my dependent. I renewed my passport in NY and got the new one along with the old passport.
My question is, How can I get extend my I94?
Should I travel out of the country or
Can I get new I94 my applyin to INS or at the any port of entry?
Please suggest me.
