Question Regarding Obtaining Visa Stamping Date

Hi
I obtained an HDFC Receipt for issuance of H1B Visa at Chennai Consulate. I am basically looking for stamping at Chennai Consulate. If my desired dates aren't available, using the same receipt number can i request for visa stamping at New Delhi Consulate. I am an Indian Citizen residing in USA and trying to seek a stamping for my recently extended H1B Visa.
Also are BEP Login Dates applicable only for Chennai Consulate or any other cosulate as well?

Hi Vishnu,

As per what I have seen in forums For the people - who are residing in US and going to India for their Visa stamping can take appointments in any consulate of India.

Only thing which other senior members may confirmed - that I am taking appointment in New Delhi Consulate and I am giving the address of Chennai where the passport should be delivered Is it possible? I mean is it mandatory that I should take the appointment in the same consulate where my Passport delivery address falls into their jurisdiction.
This question is specifically for people residing in US going to India for renewal.
