H1 VISA Renewal Stamping in INDIA

I am in on H1 visa here in US. I got my h1 renewed recently and I plan to get it stamped in India along with my wife who is on H4. So I am planning to go Chennai, I don't understand whether I should take one appointment for visa and add my wife in "Persons traveling with me" on DS156, or she has to take another appointment. I don't know how does that work.

Any advice is appreciated.

Hi santoo,

You don;'t have to take another appointment for ur wife.
You both can go in the same appointment.
While filling the details online - DS156 and DS 157. it will ask u wether u want to add dependents to the appointment . Say YES and then it will ask u to fill DS-156 and DS-157 for ur wife.

But as far HDFC Bak receipts /payment is concerned that I think u have to do separate payments for u and ur wife as that is the processing fees.
