Help H4 Dependent Visa Query

Hi,

I am having the H1-B visa stamping interview on 29 jan in Chennai consulate along with my wife applying for H4 dependent visa.

My wife has got the passport issued at 2001 and had old photo (Even the marriage certificate has got the old photo), though the DS forms has got the new photo.
Can consulate reject based on these parameters?

Had anyone with the same experience?

Hi Patel,

I haven't seen or found anything in forums Visa rejected due to this.

Unless there is a drastic change in appearance for ur wife...I think there should not be any problem.

People with same kind of experience may reply u better...

I have never seen a marriage certificate with a photo in it. Is that common now?

Nothing to be worried about unless that photo was from the 20s and she is 40 now.

Even I have seen marriage certificates without the photos issued years back.

But I have been issued (last year) the marriage certificate at Bhopal, where thay asked me to put passport size photographs.
