H1 Visa advantages over L1

Hi ,

I am right now on L1 visa and i am planning to change companies. With L1 visa i can not do that. So i need to apply for H1-B.

What reason can i give my company to start processing my H1B from L1 ?
( I can not tell tell them that i can move companies)

Are you asking for suggestions about how to mislead your company?

They are enough qualified to know your intentions and they knows advantages of H1 visa better than you.

Your L1 master will only process H1b if there is a benefit for them. If your L1 expires, it cannot be extended past 5 years while a H1b can be extended meeting certain criteria.
