H1-B/Green Card

Hi,

I have completed my 4 yrs and 9 months in USA. If I apply for Green Card what are the implications I might face.

For ex: Your Site says I need to file for my labor alteast an 365 days before my 6 year term expries to extend my stay to 7th Year. My Spouse is also on H1-B and even he will be nearing his 6 yr term around same time. Your site says he might not be able to extend his H1-B if i am the applicatant for GreenCard. And needs to change to Dependent visa. What needs to be done so that he can continue working?

Could you pls respond to these ASAP..

1. You should be fine.

2. Only way he can continue to work is that if you clear both labor certification and I-140 stage and the priority date is current and both of you file EAD along with I-485, he can continue to work.
