L1 to B1. Urgent! Please help.

Hi,

My friend has the following issue. Urgent! Please help.

My friend is on H1-B and his fiancee is on L1. They had gone to India to get married. Now, her company is not allowing her to come back. She might get an opportunity (to come on L1) later. But, for now he wants to bring her on B1 (as a visitor). Would there be an issue by doing this? Is there a risk of she losing her L1?

Any immediate help is appreciated.

B1 is for business visit and should not be used to enter as a spouse. She should enter on a H4 visa and that will not jeopardize the L1 if her company wants her to work in the future.
