Best way to contact the embassy?

I am stuck in Delhi because of the 221g "additional admin proc". I had my interview on 29th Dec and was given the 221g yellow form at Delhi consulate.
I am aware that there is no exact time limit in such cases but Can someone tell me the best way to track my case. I know of 3 choices,pls advice me which one is the better one.
1) Calling DOS in US
2) Emailing Delhi Embassy
3) Calling Delhi Embassy
4) Any other choice.

Pls let me know so that i can keep tracking it in the best way.

---- Other than the above, you can write a letter if you want to. The only option in all these cases is just wait for the decision by the US Consulate. Till then you have to be patient. it may take a long time
