I have been searching the web and this can be very confusing, hoping someone can lead me to the correct answer. My brother-in-law came here from the Philippines on a H2B vise working for a Hotel in Orlando Florida this past November 2008, he was promised 36-40 per week but unfortunately he has been getting only 15-20 hours per week since the economy is doing so bad his contract comes up in July. The question I have is that I have a business in Boston where I employ 50-60 seasonal employees from March till October. I would like to employ my brother in law where I could give him at least 40 hours per week. So what steps do I need to do to hire him right now or do I need to wait for his contract to end, and what steps do I need to do then...any help would be appreciated.
