I-94 on I-797

I-94 on I-797

I have traveled to India to get my H-1 stamped. At the time of departing my previous I-94 (from student days) was taken off but not from I-797 as I did not staple it but carried it separately. I still have it with me on my I-797.

Please advise if this will cause any issues on re entering USA? What can I do before entering US (like speaking to consulate etc.) to get it resolved?
