H1B transfer while in india - Fisible?

Hi All,

I have two questions:-
1. Can i change my employer while i am India? (I worked for my existing employer for more than 1 year and have pay stubs till Oct 2008.)
2. If #1 is feasible, then would i need to re-stamp my passport for new employer (i have H1 stamped for existing employer).
