Can Any one of you tell me how long Change of status from H4 toH1.
When Can i apply for that.

Do you already have a H1b approved?

H1b application starts April 1st and actual H1b if approved is effective Oct 1st. Read more about H1b on immihelp.

I am currently on H4, planning to apply for H1B this April.

I am planning to go to India after applying for H1B. Will this be a problem for H1 since i'll be in India if my Petition is picked up.because i will be back in june.

some people are telling i can go india and come back before october and apply for COS so i want to know how fast i can get cos
