    Staying beyond H1 cancellation

    Hi

    Im out of project from december and im holding H1B ,my employer recently ask me to get my H1 transfered since they couldn't find new job for me .I recently got recently married with an US citizen and my spouse has filed a petition for adjustment status and GC processing .Can i stay in US legally if my employer withdraw my H1 and how long can i stay?
    please answer me ASAP.

    If you have a 485 pending, you are fine.
