  • L1 to H1 COS

    1) Currently am on L1-B visa in US from company A and have all paystubs till date.
    2) I also have approved H1-B papers from company B, valid from Oct-2008.
But I never used or worked on H1 so far.
    3) Now I got offer from Company C to work on H1-B.

    4) Now to apply for COS from L1 to H1, do I have to go with company B or
is it possible to go directly with company C to apply for COS along with H1 transfer(from Company B to C).

is there any risk if I go directly with company C without working for company B?

    Pls advise.
    Thanks in advance

    Was your H1b a COS?
1,2,5,6?? What kind of series is this?

If it was a COS, your work on L1 is illegal and you should be working on H1b and getting paid from Oct 1st.
