Hello Friends,
I finished my Masters in Computer Science. I am on OPT since May'08 and working since then thru a consultancy.
My employer initally said that he will file H1 for me. But now he is saying that he wont file H1 for me this year.
Reason:
Instead of 3 years, i will get the visa only for 6 months if the duration of project for which they are applying H1 is 6 months. Then i will have to go back.
This is what he is saying.
I have a feeling that my employer does not want to file as the market is not good and saying these kind of stories.
Can some one confirm whether this is true or not?
