Passport Renewal <> Send I-94 ?

Hello All,

I am sending my passport renewal application by mail to SFO consulate. Do I need to send my I-94 as well? Attach my original I-94 with the passport or send notarized copy?

Please advice.

Hi,

I don't think that I-94 is required for Passport Renewal but still you can send the notarized copy.
Please detach the original I-94 and then send ur passport.

You should send ur H1/L1 Work Permit(I-797) notarized copy.
For Rest of the documents , please refer the consulate website

I-94 is a separate document, it is attached to the passport for the sake of convenience only. So don't send original in any case. Sending a copy will not hurt.

I called the Indian consulate and they said - Submit the Original I - 94, that will be returned with the new passport.
