  • Traveling on H4..

    Hi folks:

I had a H1 with A and my wife & kid had H4s (valid till May 2010)...Then I moved to B and got the H1 transferred...

Now the question is, Can my wife & kid go to home country and come back on their H4s?? Or will there be any questions/problems during immigration clearance?

I believe, H4 is a dependent status of a valid H1b holder. So, as long as i have a valid H1B, H4s doesn't bother about the company which holds the H1B. Am I right?

It would be greatly appreciated if someone could throw some light here....

    Thanks a bunch!

As long as H4 visa is valid, there should not be any problem. Carry the new approval from B with you.

Not an issue at all. Follow what orion said.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.
