  • I-797A and I94

    Hi,

I got my I-797A approval notice from USCIS for my extension. It has an I94 attached at the bottom, but the I94 doesn't have any date to indicate how long it is valid. The left half of the lower portion has the dates (valid from and to). But the I94 in the lower right half doesn't have any date. It just has the I94 number, my name, DOB. Is this how it should be?

    Thanks in advance.

That's the way it is. Don't worry. Validity date on the left part and the petition is your I-94 validity.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.

Usually the extended I-94 has validity dates on it (the left side labeled for personal records).

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.
