Can I take My kid inside the consulate?

Hi,
I am going to india, Mumbai for H1B stamping ( Renewal ) with my wife and kid. My kid is 1 year old. I took appointment for myself and my wife. Can I take my kid inside the consulate with me for VISA stamping.

I appreciate any response.

If the kid has a US passport and is a US Citizen, s/he has the ability to enter the consulate with you using the US passport.
