I-94 valid but visa expired can the person stay?

Hi,

My friend's visa is expiring in next 2 months but her i-94 is valid till end of next year 2010. Can she stay at US till I-94 is valid and continue her work?

Yes. Visa is only for entering U.S. The expiry date on the I-94 is the one that decides until when a person can legally stay.
