Urgent - Laid off. In sixth year H1b. What are the options?

Hello,
I got laid off yesterday. I am in sixth year of H1b. It expires by Aug 2010. What are my options, if I start looking for a job?

My employer agreed to pay 4 weeks pay and said they will not revoke my H1 until I get a job. How will I know whether they revoked or not?
they didnt mentioned anything about paying for the return ticket to home country.

Please help.

If your employer is canceling your H1, they should inform you.

Now the market seems to be improving, you could find job easily.
Try to get H1 transfer before they cancel.
