H1 Extension and Transfer

Hi,

I am working with employer X and my H1B with this employer is expiring this month end (Sep 2009). Employer X has filed for extension in the month of July.
I got an offer from employer Y and they have filed for H1 transfer this month.

I got RFE on H1 extension applied by employer X.

Are there any negative impacts on my H1 status?
If employer X does not reply to RFE (which is possible as I have already resigned), what will happen to that application?
Will this have any adverse effect on my H1B application by employer Y?

Kindly give your thoughts on above.
