  • H1 Approved...but dont want to go US now.

    Hi Experts,
I was on F1 Visa before and my H1 is approved for FY2010. Recently, I went for stamping in India and it got approved. But I dont want to go now to USA as market is bad in US. Is it ok, if I go to USA after 6 months so that I can learn more in India and then go. Is there any must go time after h1 stamping is done? and when does my 3 yr period starts? Is it from date of H1 stamping done or from the date when I land in USA?

In short, Can I go after 1 or 2 yr (for ex). If I go after 1 year will there be any problem in immigration?

    Please help me on this.

You may go on the last day of your visa (extreme) but you have to prove that you still have that job.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.

Which 3 year period? H1B in total is 6 years and it is the time that you spend in U.S.
