H1B Transfer - Urgent

Hi,

I got H1b stamped in Jan 2009 through employer A. I didnt travel to US with that H1b. My employer B would like to transfer it to his company. Is it possible to transfer the VISA ?

Yes, you can do that if you know the receipt number of the approval notice from employer A.

I have I797 approval petition of H1b with me , Will it have receipt number ?
Also i have read that h1b transfer requires two or three recent pay stubs which i dont have since i didnt travel to US on my H1b.

Please do clarify so that i can proceed further
