Impact on H1/I-140 After Leaving Country

My current employer is filing a new perm application. Through my earlier employer, I have an approved I-140. Per my knowledge, my employer didn't revoke it. Would filing a new perm application voids the existing approved I-140?

After filing I-140, if I move out of the country for couple of years by leaving the current job, could I reenter using the same petition? Am I subject to lottery process again?
