Hi,
My H1B was applied for Client A and I was awaiting approval when the project ended abruptly in July 2018. I started working with Client B with the same employer on August 1st. Approval for Client A H1B petition was received mid-August 2018. I requested the Employer to start the amendment process the same week. USCIS received LCA + amendment application on October 17th, 2018. This petition for Client B was approved in December 2018, the start date for Client B was October 17th, 2018 to 3years from then.
Now in April 2019, USCIS has sent a query to my employer requesting proof that I was with Client A from October 1st to October 17th. Proof requested is Letter from Client A, PO, SOW documents along with Paystubs that I was with Client A for this period.
I cannot provide these since I was working at Client B project starting August 1st, 2018.
How can I respond to this query? Any advice is appreciated.
