Need suggestion on stamping location
Hi All,
I have visa stamped at Mumbai location and it is expired in Jan 2018. But i have stayed in US for 2 years(one extension approved till Jan 2019 in US). I have travel back to India in March 2019. Now my extension is approved till September 2021 and my company want me to join as soon as possible.
There are no nearest dates available at Mumbai location. I am planning to apply at New Delhi or Kolkata location. my i-797 is not having any consulate location since it is 2nd extension approval.
Questions/Queries:
Q1. What would be consequences of change in location from last stamped location and location away from your working location[i.e. Pune].
Q2. Do I need to collect passport at Delhi or Kolkata location? Or I can collect at Pune specified location? What would be safest and fasted option?
Q3. I am planning to do stamping for me first and then for my wife & new born baby after my travel. Will they need to do stamping at same location as me OR they can do stamping at Mumbai location?
Q4. Will there any issue in getting VISA approved due to change in location from last stamped location and location away from your working location[i.e. Pune].?
