Labor Filing details for H1

I have been working with my employer for 3 years, and it has recently started Green card processing, but when I asked for the details it just sent me the PERM date without the case number and other details which are related to labor filing and mentioned its as per company policy.

Is it legal to hind such information from employee, it would not allow me to switch to new jobs as I will loose my old PERM filing details and new employer would have to file fresh one.
