Hi all,
I will greatly appreciate your help. I wonder if there are anyone has same experience as I am.
I got into top 30 public school in U.S and wanting to go to there.
My H1b got approved on Oct 2018, and I was on H1b less then a year. I have not filled any form of green card process.
My plan is taking three weeks vacation days from work and go to my country, South Korea, and go to F1 visa interview.
I will let my employer knows that I won't be woking for them anymore as soon as I get my F1 visa.
My question is
1. Is there anyone who has done same thing? (Taking a vacation from work (H1b) and attend F1 visa interview, and successfully get the F1 visa.)
2. Is it better option for me to resign my job and go to the interview?
The lawyer says going to the F1 visa interview is also Change Of Status process, therefore I don't need to resign my job.
3. Is it okay to book two different visa interviews (F1 for August 1st and H1b for August 13th at the same time? - just in case I do not get F1 visa, I am planning to come back to work.)
I really really need your help. I have not been able to eat, sleep but just worries.
