Filing h1 and h4 petetions together

Dear friends,

It would be great if some one can elaborate on,

Current status of husband : F1 and then OPT from July onwards.
Current status of wife: No visa, living outside USA

Is it OK to file H1 and H4 petitions together.

If yes? What is the right time and procedure?

If not? why not?

Please suggest.

Find an employer who has a job that qualifies for an H1B. The employer will then need to file an H1B petition on the candidate's behalf (Filing for new H1B's starts in April and will be open until the quota is reached) and when the petition gets approved, both the primary applicant (H1B) and dependent applicant (H4) can get it stamped and enter U.S in their respective visas.

If it is a COS to H1B, then it is advisable to file both the petitions (H1b and H4) together at the same.
