Hi everyone,
I'm on a H1B visa working in a startup company. My pay is irregular and I am worried about my paystubs.
My employer says that it's his responsibility to take care of my legal status, and that he would generate all the paystubs required using one of those commercially available payroll softwares.
My employer files all the tax information, etc. appropriately, and carefully follows the required legal procedures for small businesses.
I'm concerned if such software-genrated paystubs are sufficient. How is their validity verified? Is it through the W2 forms? I'm sure there must be some link, if not anyone could generate the paystubs using that software!
Please suggest on this situation.
