H1 B picked in 2008 and Is it still valid or possibility to use now

Hi All, It looks weird but fact is I applied for H1B in 2008 through one company and later it got picked in lottery but company has not moved further due to recession and later company closed (it seems as I tried all means to reach them). Now I have USIC number and can see the status as case approved.

It is possible to use this now to apply from any other company?

No. You haven't held a H1 status in the past 6 yrs. So your earlier petition is of no use now.

Yes. You can transfer it new employer if you have a copy of previous approved petition(soft copy also fine). Find a good employer.
