Hi All,
Had a quick q..I am eligible for drop-box during my current India trip and in Stanley website I forget to change the DS-160 no in my profile and went through and generated the CGI reference no for Axis bank to pay the Visa fee and it was done yesterday in India time.Today morning I realized in my profile there that DS-160 no was old one when I logged in to check if the MRV receipt no got updated so far it did not.I updated in my profile and went through creating appointment to check if CGI ref no changed,it was the same CGI reference.
I believe CGI reference no is tied up to a user login and not DS-160 no and we can change the no after paying the fee and it should not matter ?
Can you anyone please confirm ASAP. I believe the MRV receipt no hopefully should get updated in my profile soon and I don't need make another new payment as so far its not yet activiated (24 hours has not happened so far)..Any confirm please confirm .
