Guys, Please let me know what could be happening in my situation.
I work full time and went for my visa interview on 23rd Dec at Hyderabad consulate for my H1B. My wife and daughter are on h4. Visa officer asked whether my wife was on F1 visa any time. She was not and she replied the same. The officer said that my visa is approved but said that my wife's and daughter's visa is put on hold for administrative processing. She didn't hand any 221G. The status of the application is same (Your passport is still with the US Embassy/Consulate) for all now.
Would you guys know what could be happening? or have you faced similar situation and what was the resolution?
