Regarding my wife H4 Visa

I got new I-797 with my new employer until Sep 2010. But in my passport H1 is stamped until May 17. My wife is in India where she has H4 visa until May 17. She wants to come back to USA in June 2010. Is it possible that she can attend H4 dependant visa in India (even though primary applicant i.e., me not having valid visa on my passport)
