  • Entering on L1 and moving to H1

    Hi ,
My current situation is that I am on L1 from company A and have a H1-B approved from company A. I did not seek a change of status so I am continuing on L1. Now I am planning to visit my country and come back on L1 again. After I come back I wanted to do a H1-B transfer to company B and continue working there. Let me know if this is possible or should I get H1-B stamping from company A before I return to USA.

Thanks a lot for you help in advance.

Possible. No need to get the H1B stamped from Company A. Once you are here, Company B should initiate a COS from L1 to H1B and when that gets approved, you can start working for Company B.
