Hello
My company has applied for the H1B visa on April 1st.
I had a J1 visa (with no 2 years requirement); and when i applied for the J1 visa, we had to sign a paper saying this.
"To whom it may concern:
We, name of company, located at address in the United States, hereby
state that it is not our intention to offer employment to name of
Trainee/Intern/VIE, for a period of one year after the end of his or her
service.
Sincerely,"
I am really affraid i cannot have the H1 visa because of this paper. My J1 expired on March 31 2010 and we apply for the H1 for october 1st 2010.
What do you think? I guess the lawyer would have tell us something if we had no chance but who knows...
Also how long does it take usually to get an answer from the approbation or rejection of the visa H1 please?
Thank you
