I had my Visa interview on 31st December at Chennai US Consulate and received a blue slip . The reason is I updated my DOB during my passport renewal in 2017 and switched my jobs in 2018 . So my new I797 is in my corrected DOB .
The VO was not able to view my previous I797 since the previous I797 has the old DOB.
I was asked to submit some document which proves that my DOB correction is valid and not an error or fraud. I submitted the general court order which facilitated the DOB change as well as the application to SF Indian consulate requesting a DOB change and their receipts the very next day (Jan 1st) . At the time I did not have a scanned copy of my DOB certificate .
I haven't heard back form the consulate yet. I had to cancel my travel planned on Jan 21st. There is no update on my status . Should I submit my DOB certificate now ? I am really worried .. working remote since last 2 weeks .
Does anyone have any suggestion on what to do?
