Hi,
Yes. Two different Employer can file H1B petition for one beneficiary. But, It is in your hand, with which approval or Employer you are going to proceed.
And regarding GC, Please note GC is future Employment offer. So, new employer can sponsor GC to you and it is not compulsory that you will have to employed with the GC sponsor at the time of filing.
