H1B furlough-Is it an eligible option for having a $0 pay for 6 weeks on H1B status.
HI All, due to coronavirus situation my company revenue dropped and they had been laid offs. But in this situation they offered me a FURLOUGH option which means they will not pay anything ($0 pay)for next 6 weeks and have my termination date after 6 weeks.
is this an eligible option on h1?
so with this option can i get 6 weeks and letter from company about my end date after 6 weeks and then will i get 60 days after 6 weeks to find an employer.
Mainly is it okay to have $0 pay for next 6 weeks till my termination date on H1B status.
Please advice.
