H1B Extension

Dear Sir,

My H1B visa started on september 2009 is valid till August 2012 and previous to that i worked on L1b Visa from july 2007 till August 2009. Though I got L1B visa on March 2007 till march 2010. There is an overlap between H1B and L1B.
Kindly let me know if I will get extension to work on H1B or not and If yes for how long?

L1 + H1B in total is for 6 years. After that, you need to take a break for 1 year outside U.S unless you have filed for your Labor 365 days before the 6 th year end.
