H1B extension

Hi ,

I am working for Indina IT company on H1B.My current H1B is going to be expired on Sep 2nd 2010 and it can be extended max 10 months (June 2011) then 6 yrs period will be over . My current employer is not ready to process my green card . But One of my cousin (He has small consulting firm with 2 to 3 employees) is ready to apply labour as future employer.

Is it feasible as I will have only 13 months time from now?. any suggestions please.

Green Card is for future employment.
It doesn't matter if you have 13 months left or 13 days left on your H1.

For you to extend H1, your labor should have been approved or pending for a year.
