  • H1B stamping( COS from L1B to H1B)

I got my first L1B stamped in July 2006 with an expiry date of Sep2008.

I had my L1B extension petition valid until sep2010 untill recently I got my H1
B petition approved in November 2009.Vaildity until Oct 2012.

I started working for new H1B employer since Jan 2010.

I am planning to back to India for stamping.Does it have to be India being the first H1B stamping or can it be canada/mexico??

Please advise. Should I anticipate any delays in visa stamping in India this time as previously L1B stamping was after a 221g admin processing with a wait time of 6 months??

Should I consider going to a consulate except India?
    Please advise.

    1. Can be Canada/Mexico. https://www.immihelp.com/usa-visas/v...gcanadamexico/
    2. Maybe. Depends on H1 case, not history.
    3. Yes, you can. Read the link above.
