Hi,
I have a question while filling up the I160 form. I already hold a H1B Visa. I'm currently employed in USA for the past 3 yrs. I have changed my employer after 1 yr of coming here. I'm with my new employer for the past 2 yrs. I'm going to India & also wanted to go for stamping so that new employed details r stamped in my passport.
While filling up the form, in the Present Work/Education/Training Information, page, Im asked for "MOnthly Salary in Local currency"., So what does this mean for a person who is already working in USA. Do I need to convert my monthly paycheck dollar amt(including taxes) in to Indian currency & then put theh INR value here or put the dollary amount directly.
Can someone plz help me on this? I'm really confused with this.
Thanks
B
