Using EB3 Date of filing after upgrading to EB2 category

Hi All
My initial PERM and I40 got approved under EB3 category and then i switched employer, who filed my case under EB2. Question is, now that EB3 date of filing is 01Jan2015, can i use that for my filing as my A number is same as what it was under EB3? Or should i need to wait for Eb2 to pass my priority date?

My priority date is 05JUL2013

Hi Member,
Yes. EB3 priority date can be used for EB2 filing. In simple way, Earliest priority date can be used for subsequent petition.
