transfer of eb2 category to eb3 category

I am on H1b and my i140 is approved Two years back . My priority date is march 2012 for Green Card in eb2 category. As I heared eb3 is getting current . Is it benefical for me to switch to eb3. Please advice me.

Hi Member,
Yes. You will need to downgrade from EB2 to EB3. This is possible. Kindly approach Immigration Attorney who filed your EB2 I-140 petition.
