Sharing my H1B and H4 Visa Stamping experience
My case is as follows
Working in MNC in IT sector. Was in USA from 2016 till July 2019. H1B extension was denied in July 2019. Travelled back to India in 15 days post denial as I-94 had expired in 31 Jan 2019.
Last H1B visa stamping was till 31- Jan-2019.
Worked with the same employer in a India.
Applied for H1B cap exempt in Feb 2020 in premium. Got approval for 3 years in Feb 2020. Approved I-129 had put as “New Employment” (2 a)
Applied for H1B and H4 VISA stamping for both spouse and kid(7 year) using drop box in Mumbai consulate. In DS160 specified that overstayed in US for 15 days post H1B denial.
Passport submitted on 22 Sep 2020
Status changed to Issued on 29 Sep 2020
All 3 passports Received : 01 Oct 2020
