Need to change H4 visa to F1 Visa

Hi Everyone.....

Iam holding H4 visa and planning to pursue MBA in Minnesota. I need information regarding changing my visa status from H4 to F1.

What are the documents required and how much time it will take to complete the process to get F1 Visa. Where do i need to submit the documents once my file is ready?

Although you can study on H4, if you want to convert to F1, talk to your school internation office. They should be able to help you with the process. I think it may take 6 months for USCIS, but I am not sure. But plan ahead.

Thanks DMX17 for your information... I talked with the school management, they told me it could take 2 to 3 months... it may or may not be accepted purely depends on my paper work and luck... any idea how the chances of changinf my visa successfully.....
